-she is very tiny!

-long jump to the HB!
-beautiful double front, large step forward

Carly Patterson (USA)
-great mount sequence
-lack of amplitude on Tkatchev, but okay
-stuck full-out

Kate Brocklehurst (NZL)
-good to see her in finals
-weaker form than the others, but still a nice job
-toe-on front-1/2, very high…she had struggled with this enormously in training, good for her!

Hollie Vise (USA)
-so clean and smooth
-no mistakes, wonderful exercise!
-stuck her landing

SENIOR UNEVEN BARS

-during warm-up, the crowd applauds Amelie Plante's Def, which she catches

Terin Humphrey (USA)
-very clean, nice hop-full to Gienger
-good bail, but loss of swing after her toe-shoot to HB
-stuck her double layout
-nice exercise!

Mizoguchi (JPN)
-giant full to Gienger, very clean
-giant-blind to double front, one step
-a little lacking in difficulty

Jacqui Dunn (AUS)
-Comaneci, nice Endos, Ono turn to Jaeger, very nice work
-Pak, she is looking great
-perfect landing on the dismount, fantastic exercise!

Chen Maiojie (CHN) -wearing a short-sleeve version of the Chinese leo
-very fast, aggressive work
-great pirouettes, a little short on some HS's
-stuck her double layout
-an excellent UB final so far!

Amelie Plante (CAN)
-catches the Def!!
-does her full pirouetting sequence to Gienger - great!
-perfect bail-1/2…then falls in a free-hip….such a shame!
-crowd cheers her on in appreciation
-one step on her double layout

Tasha Schwikert (USA)
-will be tough to beat Chen…let's see
-Hindroff, great!
-Tkatchev to Pak, nice
-very controlled
-needs to stick….almost
-9.400, not quite enough

JUNIOR BALANCE BEAM

Carly Patterson (USA)
-nailed her ff full - she had struggled during training
-right on on her arabian
-punch front to immediate sheep jump - clean!
-switch side - a little low
-one step back on her dismount
-good exercise

Elsa Garcia (MEX)
-press to HS to reverse planche, very nice
-fall on an aerial walkover
-ff to back tuck
-a proficient beam worker, fairly confident, just needs to clean up the knees and toes
-nice switch ring
-over time, then falls on her double back dismount

Melissa Munro (AUS)
-very confident and stable
-punch front to high sheep jump
-tour jete -1/2, very soft landing, lovely
-one step forward on her dismount, good job!

Hollie Vise (USA) -fall on her ff-full, what a shame, she would have had the gold for sure
-looking a little shaken
-such soft landings on her elements
-one step on her dismount

Gael Mackie (CAN)
-gorgeous reverse planche
-looking better than Friday, but still a little nervous
-wobble after her piked full turn jump
-another big arm swing after a leap
-trying to hang on…RO 2 ½ twist dismount, huge applause!

-RO layout, very well landed
-one-armed ff to layout, pause, one-armed ff
-small wobble on her side somi
-balance check on punch front
-a wonderful beam worker, beautiful use of her hands
-working on her toes

-fall on ff piked full (missed her foot and came off)
-missed her foot again on a punch front, but stayed on and didn't even break form!

-a little wobbly throughout

-RO to two-foot layout mount, wobbles, then falls
-nice switch leap, tuck jump 1/1, straight jump 1/1 combination
-fall on another layout
-triple twist dismount

Jacqui Dunn (AUS) -hit her mount well

-looking solid for the most part
-good landing on her dismount, nice exercise

-a surprising final for Amelie, let's see how she does
-small wobble on full-twisting tuck jump
-RO layout to two feet, small bobble
-punch front, very sharp

-great landing on her gainer double twist
-wow, great job for Amelie!

JUNIOR FLOOR EXERCISE

Elsa Garcia (MEX)
-arabian double front, excellent landing
-triple twist, rotated very quickly, but spins herself out of bounds
-sloppy foot form, but pleasant choreography
-FHS front layout-punch front
-2 ½ twist

Carly Patterson (USA) -several small deductions on tumbling pass landings and dance elements, she will lose some points for this, but overall pretty good
-wish she would try to express herself a little more in her performance

Melanie Rocca (CAN)
-hands down on her double pike mount - her feet just skidded out from under her a little
-underrotated triple twist
-lovely, delicate choreography

Hollie Vise (USA)
-did the layout out of her front double twist this time, small form break, but good
-almost around on her triple twist
-slightly low on her double pike
-wonderful presentation, excellent choreography

Aleea Newton (AUS) -stumble on a triple turn
-almost around on her triple twist
-double pike
-lost her balance on her tucked jump double
-whip to full twist only
-double twist
-choreography a little slow for her fast-paced Riverdance music

-nice turn in attitude position
-wonderful extension on all her elements

-very nice!

SENIOR WOMEN'S FLOOR EXERCISE

Heather Purnell (CAN)
-piked full-in, great!
-front-full/front-full
-small bobbles in her dance sequence
-2 ½ twist
-perfect triple turn
-great double pike
-she couldn't have done much better!

Tasha Schwikert (USA)
-perfect opener with the punch front
-she really gets those jumps around - better than most!
-2 ½ punch layout, perfect
-beautiful triple turn
-she looks amazing!
-double pike, she doesn't even need to run hard for it!

Liu Wei (CHN) -stumble on triple turn
-slightly underrotated triple twist
-whip to a layout
-wayyy under on her cat leap double
-2 ½, step to the side
-more problems with twisting jumps
-choreography uninspired
-a little low on her double pike

-hiccup on her triple twist landing, not bad

-dance is nice, elegant movement
-faking her landings on some of her dance

-nice whip/whip to 2 ½, very clean
-triple twist, almost around
-audience clapping along

Allana Slater (AUS)
-perfect whip triple twist

-lovely tango
-small stumbles on dance…that should give it to Schwikert
-perfect, legs together landing on her double pike
-waving to the crowd after…great redemption for the classy Slater

-double-twisting Yurchenko, good job, not perfect, but she has been falling quite a bit in training, 9.350

-Yurchenko 1 ½, she can do it a little better (large step to the side), 9.187
-little over on her Podkopayeva, but good to see two different vault of that calibre
