Too young to compete at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, young Lacramioira Filip was sent to the 1988 Druzhba ("Junior Friendship") meet. Open to juniors from Eastern Bloc countries and the DPRK, Filip competed well at the meet, placing second with her Romanian teammates (Bontas included), 5th all-around, and first on vault.

Perhaps her most memorable outing was the 1989 World Championships in Stuttgart, where Filip and her teammates placed second.

In the years since her retirement Filip transferred to sports aerobics, a sport that's proved popular among former women's artistic gymnasts in Romania. As a sports aerobics competitor, Filip earned a spot to the 1999 European Championships.

On the heels of her involvement in sports aerobics, Filip performed for Aeros, an Italian performance art troupe. In her later years with the troupe she was known as Lacramiora Moldovan, suggesting perhaps a union with fellow performer Cristian Moldovan. Indeed, the two performed a duet together in Aeros.

Meanwhile, Filip also earned a certificate from the National School of Trainers in Bucharest, voicing a desire to coach artistic gymnasts to Olympic gold. Apparently she's taking note; She can often be seen in the spectator stands at Romanian competitions!
